About

Brave Sinergy

Irene Cordero, our CEO – Founder, wanted to create an inclusive organization where she could welcome and support all people’s life experiences and knowledge.

How Brave Sinergy Was Born

CEO & Founder

I have worked in the human resources area for almost 23 years for multinational companies. Most recently, in Canada,  I am an intern clinical counsellor. I am passionate about working for and with people from different backgrounds and cultural experiences.

Now, with Brave Sinergy Partner, I aim to work with people to create positive synergies and build more inclusive and diverse organizations. Also, Brave Sinergy is a community that supports and encourages people with different abilities to have a place that sees their values and strengths professionally fulfilled.

As an immigrant born and raised in Costa Rica, and now as a Canadian citizen, I have experienced many challenges and changes in my life. I left my country 14 years ago and have lived in the USA, Mexico City, and now BC, Canada.

I studied psychology in Costa Rica, have a Master’s in Clinical Group Psychology, and right now, I am doing a master’s in Counselling Psychology through the City University of Seattle.

In my free time, I like hiking with my two Bernese Mountain dogs (Suyo and Pipa); I practice meditation, baking, and cooking for the people I love.
